Lecture for KTH Mental Health Week

Uppdaterat: 30 jan. 2020

A few pictures from my most recent lecture at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. I was invited to share my insights on student related stress and anxiety, a subject I care deeply about.

As a well-being and performance coach for The University of Edinburgh, I’ve gotten the chance to meet hundreds of students the past year, and listen to their perspective and struggles as young adults in today’s society. Many students today are experiencing increasing amounts of stress and anxiety, due to e.g. the pressure to succeed, financial worries and the negative impact of social media. This has a direct impact on their academic performance and overall well-being, as many students lack the knowledge and proper tools to cope with these pressures in a healthy way. Initiatives like “Mental Health Week” is a great way to raise awareness around the subject and fill the exciting knowledge gap among our students.

It was lovely meeting so many of you there! I was overwhelmed by the positive response and emails I received after, thank you so much for coming along! :)
